The Higher Education Bubble, Pt. 1

Bubbles are only for gum and that weird soapy liquid you usually get at weddings, right?  That’s what I used to think too until I started learning about financial bubbles -think the recent housing bubble and the dot com burst- which can result in a severe economic crash in a specif industry.

Recently some economists, alarmed by the fact that college tuition has risen at a rate well above inflation combined with a lack of job growth, have started to talk about a “higher education bubble.”

Take a look at part one of this two part series chronicling the “higher education bubble” and let me know what you think in the comments section.
