Math in the News: Linear Patterns

If you’ve been keeping up on our Math in the News posts then you know that math truly is all around you, but one place you may not have expected to see math is in a dance performance.

Believe it or not, many dance routines incorporate mathematics to add a certain balance and organization to the routine.  In fact, almost every time you dance you are using math when you count the beats to stay in step.
