Must-Have iPhone Apps for Students, Pt. 2

Last week I posted about five of my favoriteĀ must-have iPhone apps for students, and this week I have a few more. Do you have any to add to the list?

ConvertĀ – The Unit Calculator ($2.99)

It may be self-explanatory, but this app enables you to quickly and easily convert one unit to another. There is a wide range of unit types, including temperature, length, distance, speed, currency, energy, time, and even computer units.

Wikipanion (free)

Access Wikipedia anytime in this ad-free app with easy search and navigation, saved searches, bookmarks, and image saving capabilities.

iTunes U (free)

Apple’s new app allows you to download courses, lectures, videos, and books from over 500,000 selections, turning your phone into an awesome mobile learning portal.

Find My iPhone (free)

In the case that your phone is lost or stolen, this app will help track down its location. You can then send your phone a message, lock it, or wipe it clean.

AroundMe (free)

A location app for finding nearby restaurants, stores, parking, and more. If you’re visiting a new city, go to school out-of-town, or just want to discover a new place, this free app is a great resource.

Do you have any amazing apps to share? Tell me your suggestions and I’ll include them in Part 3 of this series.
