Must-Have iPhone Apps for Students, Pt. 1

Your smartphone can be a huge help in managing your busy student life. With the wealth of mobile apps swarming the App Store, it can be difficult to navigate the masses to find the best ones.

Use this list of tried and true iPhone apps that are sure to increase your productivity and organization:

1. iStudiez Pro ($2.99)

This all-in-one app allows you to organize your schedule, add classes and events, deadlines, and assignments, track your grades, and set alerts.

2. Dropbox (free)

Sync your computer files to Dropbox, add the app on your phone, and *poof* all your files are accessible from your phone.

3. Evernote (free)

If you take digital notes on an iPad or laptop, sync your notes to all devices with an Evernote account and have access to them on your phone.

4. Free Graphing Calculator (free)

Chock full of features, this highly-rated app is a great tool for any of your math classes. Graph up to four color-coded equations at once or check the resource list for a bank of equations.

5. EasyBib (free)

Scan a book’s barcode and seconds later you’ll have your citations in the format of your choice (APA, MLA, Chicago).

If you use and love our Calc Chat site, you’ll be happy to know that the iPhone app is coming soon!
